SCAA has written to the Veterinary Practitioners Board asking for their assistance in reminding vets that it is OK to sell the ram sedation drug Acepromazine to Wool growers.
We all know that rams are not getting smaller, and they are certainly not in love with being shorn. The responsibility for safety does not start nor stop with the Shearing Contracting. Shearers, shed staff, farmers and vets all have a role to play in keeping everyone safe!
